I have an MA in History from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to that, I earned a BA with Honours in History with a Minor in English Language (Rhetoric Focus) from the University of British Columbia. I also have an IB Diploma and can help students with that coursework as well.
Experience
I have previous Tutoring Experience in English (Grades 7-12 and IB)and Math Grades 4-5 and was a teaching assistant at the University of Western Ontario for History of Asia. I have just finished a Research and Digitization Contract with the Museum of Vancouver. I also worked at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre (museum) as a curatorial assistant. I currently work at the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development. I'm used to teaching kids and skilled with teaching university-level courses. I'm also a very good editor. I won't help students plagiarize or write essays for them, but I'll do my best to help them boost their marks. I can also help students edit and formulate applications for universities., with a focus on the process to edit and formulate (I won't write the application for them).
