Experience
Obtained high grades in English, maths and biology in high school (German Abitur exams, comparable to A-levels) I worked for my university for 4 years in various areas, volunteering as an evacuation assistant, representing the university and providing information at the university's Open Days. Part of this work was university-organized tutoring of groups of approx. 12 students to facilitate self-studying and support students in understanding of the curriculum. The courses I tutored covered History of Psychology, Psychodiagnostics, Basic Neuroanatomy and Neurobiology as well as Perception. I also recently tutored privately for IELTS preparation. I speak German and English at a native level. In addition, I learned basic conversational Dutch during my stay in Maastricht. I'm passionate about neuroscience and especially neuropsychology specifically. My tutoring approach is to analyze the goals or issues tutees face and form a structured plan in order to help each of them to reach their potentials by breaking down challenging parts into simpler accessible ones. Besides my academic achievements, I obtained a ABRSM Grade 5 in music theory and Grade 6 in violin, which is why I also included music-related topics into my available topics for tutoring.

Hobbies
For the longest time I've played instruments (violin since I was 6 and piano since I was approx. 15 years old). In addition I took part in various ensembles and even took music theory lessons as, during my teenage years, I planned to study music. I always listen to music, while I cannot play it myself, which gives me an upper hand in music rounds of local Pub Quizzes. I also like to draw and paint, when I get the time. My preferred methods are pencil drawings or acrylic/oil paintings, tending more towards realism in terms of style. My favourite thing to paint are portraits and faces.
