I have four years of professional experience as a teaching assistant in both a MATH 110 workshop and the Math Learning Centre at the University of British Columbia. I am comfortable tutoring multiple levels of mathematics, ranging from high school math to Applied Mathematics. Since math is a cumulative subject, I will also backtrack to any foundational concepts that are acting as learning obstacles to current material. Whether you need help solving inequalities or using SOHCAHTOA, I'm ready to assist. I can help students prepare for several standardized exams as well, including the Math section of the SAT and both levels of the SAT Subject Test in Mathematics. I scored a 780 out of 800 on my own SAT Math Level 2 exam, so students can trust that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to test prep.
