I recently graduated from the University of Waterloo, majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Pure Mathematics. In the fall I will be starting my Msc in Mathematics at the University of British Columbia. I have several years of experience tutoring math at both the highschool and university levels. I'm also familiar with the IB curriculum as well as the GRE Quant section. In my lessons, I like to focus on gaining a deeper understanding of the material rather than memorizing steps. I believe that, in order to be successful in math, it is crucial for students to understand the "why" in addition to the "how".
