Since 2000, I taught private Japanese lessons in Vancouver, BC, Canada, helping more than 400 students from business professionals and high schoolers to casual learners and homemakers. Many of them passed the JLPT with excellent scores (some even got perfect marks!), moved to Japan for work or study, or simply fell in love with the language and culture. I also spent 2 years as a teacher at a private Japanese language school in BC.
