Experience
I grew up in Tehran, Iran and moved to Canada to continue my post-secondary studies. I attended University of British Colombia where I initially majored in History, but later changed it to Art History. I also conducted my minor in Film studies. My knowledge of film theory is extensive since I've been watching and reading about the subject since I was a child. Throughout my program I also attended courses in Photography, Visual Arts theory, music theory, acting, literature and many more. After my education at UBC, I started working in the events industry within music festivals. I produced shows and events for the city of Vancouver. I also worked for Arts Umbrella, an arts school for youth, where I taught theatre, dance and visual arts for 4 years. I also worked for a CiTR Radio 101.9FM in Vancouver as a host and programmer. I later moved to France to continue my education in events Management, for which I conducted my apprenticeship working the special events department at Disneyland Paris. I'm currently travelling and reside in different places. For the past few months I have been in australia but plan to move on and explore something new soon! I'm also fluent in Farsi, the language of poetry!
