Education

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary in 1995. My major was in history. I followed this up by going to the University of Sydney in Australia to earn a Masters degree in history in 1997.

Experience

I want to teach people how to write better. I believe that writing can be a very effective way of communicating, but only if its done well! I love the written word, I'm actually somewhat pedantic, and I want to inspire other people to pick the precisely the right words when they're trying to express themselves. I have previously tutored two undergraduate students at the University of Sydney to improve their writing schools while I was doing my degree there.
